Welcome to A Beautiful You Electrology
Nearly every woman deals with hair removal as part of her regular beauty routine. Excess hair (Hirsutism) is a frustrating problem, causing emotional stress and a low self esteem. Unfortunately society glorifies the physical appearance to such a degree that anything short of the media's image of beauty is considered undesirable. Electrolysis can permanently remove unwanted hair that causes distress and embarrassment. If excess hair is one problem you would like to eliminate, electrolysis (permanent hair removal) can help you do just that and the results are more than skin deep. This refreshing new look will work wonders for your confidence and self esteem.
History of Electrology
Modern electrology began in 1875 by Ophthalmologist Dr. Charles E. Michel. He discovered the method we know today as electrolysis while removing an ingrown eyelash from one of his patients. Through his initial findings and continued research, permanent hair removal through electrolysis has been shown to be a reliable and safe method of treating unwanted hair for over 135 years. To date electrolysis is the only method recognized by the Food and Drug Administration for permanent hair removal.
